Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is an excellent-looking Soulslike action RPG, and its release on PS5 and PS4 is imminent, with the adventure set to begin on 11th October. It is worth the price if you enjoy these kind of titles but I would suggest to keep expectations away from AAA titles. There is probably something for everybody in the game but it is no revolution in general.
Equip a magical staff to obliterate your foes from the distance or switch to a gigantic battle hammer to squish them in a close combat. I think the gameplay is fun a bit more casual but the weapon classes are enjoyable. The talent system allows you to pick and expand your combat style by choosing two out of six completely different weapons: sword and shield, dual blades, spear, hammer, staff or even magic bracelets. To consider: the game renders 1080p60 on PS5 as far as I know and can tell, which is fine considering the style of the game but it might be a let down for graphics enthusiasts. Ingame performance is mostly good although the game starts to render far away enemies with chunky frames but nothing that would obstruct the gameplay itself. As mentioned by others it is not as difficult as other souls-like titles and it is also less polished, enemies feel a bit generic and some mechanics could use some optimizations. Rosehill Dairy is a local Utah company offering home delivery of milk, cheese, bread, butter and other grocery items. I decided to buy this game on release and it is pretty decent.
